Missing Person Alert (Blackburn Area)

We are becoming increasingly concerned about the welfare of a 49-year-old man who has gone missing from Blackburn.

David Sutton (pictured) was last seen on CCTV outside the A&E department of Blackburn Royal Infirmary at around 6.24pm on August 18th.

He has neither returned to his home in Blackburn, nor made contact with family or friends since.

He is described as white, 5ft 5ins tall, of slim build, with shoulder-length grey hair in an ‘untidy’ style and a Manchester City Football Club tattoo on one arm (unknown which side).

Sergeant Nick Everett, of Blackburn Police, said: “We are extremely worried about David as he needs to take regular medication, which he does not have in his possession.

“We would urge anybody who sees him, or who has information about his whereabouts, to get in touch with us immediately.”

Anybody with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting log number 1219 of August 18th. image (6)
